Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale has consistently been listed in the Top 100 Sexiest Women lists that various magazines and web sites compile each year. Kate Beckinsale made her acting debut in a TV called One Against the Wind, which was set during World War II. While Kate knew was was going to have a career as an actress, in 1991 she put her acting on hold to attend Oxford University’s New College. At Oxford she majored in French and Russian literature.

In 1993, Kate Beckinsale starred as Hero in the motion picture film adaptation Much Ado About Nothing. That role gave Kate the opportunity to gravel to Tuscany, Italy. She eventually decided to drop out of her studies at Oxford when she was chosen for roles in three other European productions.

Kate’s career was put on the front page when she was given a role in the 2001 epic movie Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett. Her success continued with roles in Underworld, Van Helsing, The Aviator, and most recently Vacancy (2007).
